We are delighted to announce that we are opening the enrollment for TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) exams through the partnership with St Petersburg State University.
Test of Russian as a foreign language (TORFL) is based on a single certification system according to the 6 levels of language proficiency.
Tests for all levels consist of 5 parts; each of them lasts from 30 minutes to 1½ hours, depending on the level with 10 minutes breaks between the parts:
- Grammar & Vocabulary
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening comprehension
- Speaking
From 1 January 2015, all foreign citizens wishing to apply for a work permit (with the exception of highly qualified specialists), a patent, a temporary residence permit or a residence permit must pass an exam in:
- Russian as a foreign language;
- History of Russia;
- Legislation basics of the Russian Federation.
To successfully pass the exam, minimum 66% of the possible points must be achieved in each test.
