A busy and inspiring couple of weeks at the Mashrek Academy of Music, with lectures and piano masterclasses led by our Academy Director, Iyad Sughayer.

We're incredibly proud to share that two of our talented students competed in the final round of the Shoman Foundation Abde’a Awards today!

Jouri Habaib - Guitar, 15 years old and a student of Mr Salah Abu Baker, has been playing guitar for 5 years. Today she performed Mauro Giuliani's La Melanconia in the final round; we wish her all the best!

Noor Baddour – Piano, 9 years old a student of Ms Yusosr Ramadan. Noor has been playing piano and violin for three years. Alongside her studies at the academy, she sings with both the school choir and Mosaica Kids. For the final, she performed Fritz Spindler's French Waltz.

Noor and Jouri have shown incredible dedication, talent, and love for music in reaching the final rounds. All of us at MAM are incredibly proud of!
