مشاكل الأظافر وكيفية حلها
الأظافر عبارة عن شكل أكثر سمكآ وصلابة من اشكال طبقة البشرة وما هو إلا حصيرة أكثر صلابة وسمكآ من الطبقة العلوية للجلد وتتكون الاظافر من خلايا ميتة وهي بدورها تتكون من نوع قوي من الكيراتين.
مشاكل الأظافر
تتكون الاظافر اساسآ من المادة البروتينية الخاصة بالجلد والتي تعرف بـ الكيراتين keratin ، وهذه المادة تحتوي على 15% من وزنها ماء بجانب نسبة من الاملاح المعدنية ، ولا يشكل الكالسيوم في تكوين الاظافر أهمية كبيرة وإن كان يتدخل في بعض العمليات الحيوية التي قد تساعد في قيام بعض اجهزة الجسم الاخرى بوظائف هامة ، وينعكس ذلك بصورة غير مباشرة على نمو الاظافر ، وهكذا يتضح أن العلاقة بين الكالسيوم و نمو الاظافر علاقة غير مباشرة ، ولكن عند حدوث نقص في الكالسيوم ( وهذا يحدث غالبآ مع نقص فيتامين د ) فإن الشعر والاظافر قد تفقد بعض مرونتها مما يؤدي إلى سهولة تكسرها .
علاج مشاكل الأظافر

ينمو الأظفر كل يوم بمعدل 0.1 مليمتر ، انه أنه بحاجة من 4 – 6 شهور ليتجدد بالكامل، وقد تستغرق اظافر القدم عامآ كاملآ لتجديد نفسها
الأظافر الصحية تبدو ناعمة ملساء مستديرة استدارة طفيفة وصلبة ولا يوجد بها حواف أو اخاديد، كذلك هي موحدة في اللون وخالية من البقع أو تغير في اللون.
