Steer Town Basic School The Steer Town Basic School Institution offers children a chance to develop holistically with the use of developmentally appropriate activities.

The Steer Town Basic School was initially started by our own "Ma Beryl" Dobson over 60 years ago. We are a Early Childhood institution who is jointly owned by The Steer Town New Testament Church of God. We continue to strive for excellence as we try to uphold the quality standard of education we are known to offer to children 3-6 years.

It is with profound sadness that the Steer Town Basic School family extends our deepest and most sincere condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the late Mrs.Pearl Tulloch.

Mrs. Tulloch was a dedicated and stalwart educator who faithfully served the Steer Town Basic School for many years. Throughout her years of service, she touched the lives of countless children with her patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment to early childhood education. Her passion for teaching, gentle spirit, and dedication to nurturing young minds have left an enduring legacy that will never be forgotten.

Today, the Steer Town Basic School,pause to honor the memory of a remarkable educator, leader, and servant whose contributions may not have always been celebrated publicly, but whose impact continues to live on in the hearts of many. As a former principal of Steer Town Basic School, she dedicated her life to nurturing young minds, supporting families, and strengthening the foundation of early childhood education within the community.Maam Beryl may not have sought recognition, but her legacy is reflected in the countless lives she touched. Many of her former students have gone on to become productive citizens, carrying with them the values, confidence, and lessons she helped to instill. Her dedication, sacrifice, and selfless service makes her a true unsung hero. Rest in eternal peace Ma’am Beryl.
