Calling all young innovators across the Caribbean!

Do you know a youth who has a passion for robotics, coding, and solving real-world problems? This is your opportunity to make a difference!

The Commonwealth of Learning’s Caribbean Pilot – Youth Robotics Innovation Challenge is looking for young people aged 16–23 to design innovative solutions for some of the Caribbean’s biggest challenges, including:
🌿 Climate resilience
🌊 Ocean conservation
♻️ Waste management
🍽️ Food security
🤖 Assistive robotics
…and more!

Selected teams will receive:
✅ Mentorship
✅ Robotics kits & resources
✅The opportunity to showcase their work at CHOGM
✅A chance to collaborate with youth from across the Caribbean

I’m so proud of you Mathew, Jacob and James- the Techno Swans. The start of preparing for this season was a rocky one for this team, everything that could go wrong went wrong, all the down to redesigning their robot 2 weeks shy of the competition. Then something clicked and there was no turning back, They locked in and it showed. Their next step will be preparing for the World Robot Olympiad International Finals in Puerto Rico set to take place in December. This will be their 2nd time representing Jamaica at the WRO. The work is just getting started. 👏🏾

I’m so proud of you Liam and Kaili-the Atomic Swans. Their next step will be preparing for the World Robot Olympiad Americas Open Championships in California set to take place in September. This will be their 2nd time representing Jamaica at the WRO. There is much work to be done but I think that they are up for the challenge. 👏🏾
