Teaching Umoja is a collection of strategies, ideas, and recommendations from parents, teachers, artists, families, community members, and youth about how to navigate the systems created by the dominant culture. These strategies help young children to become knowledgeable, well suited, armored, and prepared. This book is not the end of our Teaching Umoja Participatory Action Research.
