UWI Mona Western Jamaica Campus Council

When the UWI, Mona Guild Campus Council took office, a major complaint was that there were limited sporting activities happening or available on the UWI, Mona - WJC campus. Ever since, we have requested and utilized the equipment to give you Basketball Tournaments, Football matchups, formed partnerships to have lent support to the University of Technology Jamaica’s Students’ Union for their annual Walk/Run, and now we have done it once again with Badminton.

All this work could not have been possible without the efforts and dedication of our Games Committee Chairperson, Ms. Shanna-Kay Brown () along with her Committee members.

We also added our own mix to this Integration Thursday with a “Pop Up Lyme,” persons were out having fun whilst cheering along with the Badminton teams!

We are happy as a Council to know that we are keeping our promises.
