On May 18, 2012, the Governor General of Jamaica, Sir Patrick Allen proclaimed the 3rd Friday in May-each year- National Children’s Day in Jamaica.

This year, Child’s Month is celebrated under the theme, STAND UP, SPEAK OUT: Protect the rights of our children.
