Philmelodia, formerly called British was organized in 1946. Phil means “full of melody”.
The club has three (3) main purposes:
1) Social interaction among ladies of the Residence Hall.
2) To teach parliamentary procedures
3) To help them to be able to speak well in public. The club is still alive in the female Residence Hall and among other things encourages unity within the different cultures. The club is engaged in outreach activities and helps to foster pride in Residence life. Pa
