McIntosh Daycare and Preschool
Philosophy
Here at McIntosh Daycare and Preschool we follow the Early Childhood
Curriculum as set out by the Ministry of Education. We develop our own
modifications that will adapt to its needs of our children with exciting programs
while incorporating guided Instruction, creative expression, movements, spanish,
writing and number work.
We maintain staff to student ratios (no greater than 1:8) we are able to provide
individual attention to each child. Mcintosh Daycare and Preschool pride ourselves
in saying that our graduates will leave reading, writing,fluent in number work and
speaking Spanish at the Grade 1 level or higher if they stay for the duration of the
program.
At McIntosh Daycare and Preschool we:

❖ Assess each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth and
work to achieve the best learning outcomes for each child
