CLASS OF '89 SETS THE BAR HIGH – A Heartfelt Gift to Their Alma Mater!
Watch as the Class of 1989 proudly donates a brand-new set of kitchen utensils to their beloved alma mater, an act of gratitude, love, and legacy. But the giving didn’t stop there…

At the end of this touching donation, some of the '89 crew comes together in true friendship and harmony with a surprise serenade: "That's What Friends Are For," a heartfelt tribute to one of their own and a powerful reminder of the lifelong bonds that began over 30-years ago.

This isn’t just a donation; it’s a movement.

LET THIS BE YOUR INSPIRATION. Whether it’s a small gesture or a major project, every year group has the power to come together, give back, and create memories that will inspire generations to come.

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN.
Gather your crew. Get creative. Give back. Leave your mark.
Your alma mater helped shape who you are—this is your chance to shape its future.

Congratulations to our BADMINTON Under-19 School League, Eastern Region. The girls first placed and retained the championship. The boys second place. Both teams played in the all-island finals, and the girls came second. The boys would be ranked third or fourth.

Here are more special moments captured during the official handover of an industrial serger machine, generously donated by the Oberlin High School Class of ’89.
Organized by Opal Boyd-Oliver and made possible through the generosity of dedicated donors, the machine was formally presented by Andrew Campbell and Ann Marie Malabre, proud members of the Class of ’89.

We encourage other year groups to unite and be part of this much-needed change.

The initiative, organized by Opal Boyd-Oliver and made possible through the generosity of dedicated donors (Family, Friends, and acquaintances), reflects the class’s enduring connection to their alma mater and their desire to give back in a meaningful way. Representing the Class of ’89, Andrew Campbell & Ann Marie Malabre were on hand to present the machine, symbolizing the collective effort and spirit of their peers.

This valuable addition will enhance the practical learning environment for students, equipping them with skills that open doors to entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.

We extend our deepest thanks to the Class of ’89 and all those who made this contribution possible. Your investment is helping to shape futures and strengthen our community.
