Pembroke Hall School open its doors on September 3, 1969 under the leadership of Mr. W.A. Titus. It accommodates over 1400 students on a shift system. Andrew.

Here is the mother of Stephen McLaren, cricketer and immediate past student in her Grieving Moment, as Reported in the Gleaner.

It was as if God was trying to tell her to urgently reach out to her son, Stephan McLaren, in the wee hours of New Year's morning before he was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant. Evelyn Barton, indeed, made the call to her son, a promising young cricketer, with some of her final words of instruction to him being, "Come in": http://bit.ly/2i5VZYB

Its with sad regret that we make this annovement that talented cricketer and immediate past student Stephen McLaren who had just started his sixth form studies at Calabar High was brutal murder.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of this young man.

To all members of PHHS, Greeting and welcome as we start the year 2017, I know some of you who have or knew someone who didn't make it Pass the year 2016 and i would like to say keep these love one in your taught and memories always. To all the PHHS member who have made it through 2016 in to 2017, you have survive, recognize that and hold fast to your goal and dreams, make this Year 2017 be one of Focus and Determination, Don't stress about something you can't change and focus on what you can change, think good taught, say nice thing, do good for others, everything comes back to you, train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. Remember that love is not what you say , Love is what you do. I hope my words will cause you to Pause and think about your life and you will make the changes that you need to make to succeed and attain your Goal, so hold your Head high and look over the Horizon and see yourselves at the finish line of Been a success not just for you but for the People surround you. May Blessing shower down on you all like Rain and may the seed of success you Plant start to Grow with strength. Blessing always.

Mr Errol Patterson one of the pioneers of the Pembroke Hall High School has died. He was among the early group of teachers of the then Pembroke Hall Junior Secondary and even after his retirement some years ago continue to serve the institution as its first Plant Manager until his passing .

May his soul rest in peace.
