The Ericsson Innovation Awards 2016 are now open for registration!
On this occasion we’d like extend a formal invitation to UTECH UNIVERSITY in Jamaica to participate in the annual Ericsson Innovation Awards.
The theme for this year’s competition is “The Future of City Life.” Today, more people live in cities than in rural areas, and by 2050, about 70 percent of the world’s population is expected to reside in urban areas. How can we ensure our cities are creative, connected and sustainable? How can we improve the lives of billions and the future of our planet?
In Ericsson's vision of the Networked Society, technology fundamentally transforms the ways we organize our lives, businesses and societies. Empowered by technology, students and progressive teachers are catalysts for fundamental change. New skills and the passion for constant learning are becoming increasingly important. A new ecosystem is emerging that is greatly impacting, and in some cases redefining, established systems and institutions.
The Ericsson Innovation Awards 2016 is a great opportunity for students to be the drivers of fundamental change in society. We invite your students to register by November 30 and compete in the Ericsson Innovation Awards.
