This project will bring together Centennial students and students from post-seco in Jamaica to work collaboratively with M + N Foundation to design, develop and deliver a Girls Leadership Empowerment Program for high school students of underserved communities. This is a project aimed at empowerment through learning & developing workshops based on the needs of high school students of undeserved communities. Centennial students will:

Apply diverse models of leadership in a global context
Develop hands-on skills implementing a community development program including such elements as student engagement and leadership. Will gain understanding of the political, historical and cultural context that lead to the disempowerment of women and girls worldwide.
