Building a dream home and meaningful memories along the way. 💙🏡 This week in our La Hora Creativa Family Series, we’re hearing from the Payne Family.

As they transformed their ideas into their dream-home creation, the experience gave them a chance to work as a team, share their imaginations and strengthen their connection through creativity. 🎨✨

Recovery doesn’t happen overnight and continued support matters. 💙

With the generous support of Bacardi, Seprod Foundation distributed approximately 450 care packages to families in Crawford, St. Elizabeth and Seaford Town, Westmoreland, as both communities continue to recover from Hurricane Melissa.

The distributions provided practical support to families still navigating the effects of the hurricane and reflect our continued commitment to standing with these communities throughout their recovery.

From immediate relief to rebuilding homes and livelihoods, and investing in long-term resilience, we remain committed to supporting communities through every stage of the journey.

A dream home starts with a dream. 🏡✨ This week’s video in our La Hora Creativa Family Series features the Williams Family, who brought their ideas to life as they worked together to create their very own dream home.

Beyond what they built was something even more valuable the opportunity to collaborate, communicate, laugh and simply enjoy creating together as a family. 💛

21 days. 21 marathons. One incredible mission. 🏃🏽‍♂️🇯🇲 For 21 consecutive days, Mike is taking on the extraordinary challenge of running a full marathon each day across Jamaica, all in support of the Freedom Skatepark Foundation and the work it does to create opportunities for young people through skateboarding. The Seprod Foundation is proud to stand behind this inspiring initiative and the determination, endurance and heart driving every mile.

Mike is already well into his journey, but there’s still time to rally behind the cause. 💚 Whether by donating, sharing or simply spreading the word, every bit of support can help carry this mission further. Let’s help give Mike and the cause he’s running for, the boost they deserve. 🙌🏽

From recovery to resilience. 🤝💙

Seprod Foundation and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany have signed a grant agreement supporting the next phase of work to transform the Seaford Town Community Centre into a Community Resilience Hub.

With rehabilitation works set to begin soon, the project will help create a stronger, more resilient community space designed to support Seaford Town today while strengthening its ability to prepare for and respond to future emergencies.

This next phase builds on the recovery work already underway in Seaford Town following Hurricane Melissa and reflects a shared commitment to moving communities beyond recovery towards long-term resilience. German Embassy in Jamaica

What happens when families create together? They build more than what’s in front of them. 💛🏡

Welcome to our La Hora Creativa Family Series, where we’re sharing the experiences of four families who joined us for a day of creativity, connection and imagination.

Together, each family was challenged to dream up and create a model of their dream home, turning a hands-on creative activity into an opportunity to collaborate, communicate and spend meaningful time together. 🎨✨

First up, meet the Campbell Family. Press play to hear about their experience and what creating together meant to them.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll introduce you to more of the families who joined us and hear their stories in their own words. 💙 lahoracreativaoficial

Recovery is about more than rebuilding, it’s about helping communities get back on their feet. 🏠💙

Through our partnership with Angostura, Seprod Foundation has supported Hurricane Melissa recovery across three important areas: helping families rebuild their homes, supporting small businesses as they reopen, and strengthening animal welfare by supporting the JSPCA.

In Seaford Town, we recently marked an important milestone with the handover of a new home to a family impacted by the hurricane, one part of a wider programme supporting families and communities as they rebuild.

From homes to livelihoods to the animals that are part of these communities, the partnership reflects a holistic approach to recovery and a shared commitment to helping communities move forward.

What happens when creativity is shared? It grows. 💛✨ What began with Creative Master Training has come full circle. We closed June with one of our top participants leading her very own La Hora Creativa workshop, passing on the skills, confidence, and creativity she gained to a new group of aspiring creators.

In partnership with Vanessa Meggoe of the Institute of Jamaica, the workshop was filled with learning, imagination, and meaningful family moments showing how creativity has the power to connect, inspire, and create lasting impact.

Here’s to growing creative communities, one workshop at a time. 💙🎨

Today, the Seprod Foundation, in partnership with the University of Technology, Jamaica and Mercy Corps, welcomed a passionate group of UTech students for an engaging Solar Design Training focused on building stronger, more resilient communities.

Through both technical instruction and hands-on learning, participants are gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to design solar energy systems for resilience hubs.
As part of the programme, students will contribute to the solar system design that will help transform the Seaford Town Community Centre into a Resilience Hub, a project funded by the German Embassy.

It was an inspiring morning filled with curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating sustainable solutions for Jamaica’s future.

Smiles were shared, creativity came alive, and meaningful moments filled the room. 💛✨

Last Friday, families gathered for the La Hora Creativa Family Day at where connection took centre stage through storytelling, hands-on activities, reflective conversations, and moments designed to bring families closer together. 🏡🎨

From building dream homes side by side to sharing hopes, laughter, and intentions for the future, the experience reminded us that the strongest bonds are often created in the simplest moments.

Through the support of the and the programme, families were encouraged to pause, create, and reconnect with purpose.
