***LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR ADDRESS***
Greetings!
I do hope that no member of the JOOI community has been severely or at least minimally affected by the passage of Hurricane Sandy. If you, another student and/or a regular citizen have been drastically impacted by the above mentioned disaster, please contact me ASAP!!
As promised, the dates of the much anticipated JOOI Week 2012 have been set! A myriad of fun and optimistic activities are awaiting! In addition, we'll add our special touch to the Week to 'nice it up' just a bit.
The dates are Novemebr 19-23. As usual, the Week is culminated in the form of a mass social .However, this year will see the closing in a new and more modern setting. 'Big big tings a plan!' Details will be released at your club meeting this week.
Your Club directors will also be informing you of the District and International dues that MUST be paid if you are to become a member, continue as one as well as enjoy the numerous benefits that come with JOOI membership.
Again, I plead that you and your family remain safe and remember that: 'After the hurricane comes a rainbow'
'Youths on a mission, it makes no difference if there is no difference'
-Yours in Optimism,
Lt.G Javanni Waugh
