'Money Basics For Kids' book offers children a thoroughly researched and easy-to-read guide into the basic world of money and entrepreneurship. The book aims to make children financially literate by educating them about the basic concepts of money, its origin, how to earn it as well as how to save and manage it. To ensure that children have fun learning about money, we invited two friends, Malcolm the Detective and his Good friend, Shelly, to join in. Their sole mission is to have the honor of walking children through each chapter by making sure they understand why money is important and why they need to start saving now. At the end of each chapter, the two friends provide remarkable activities that will aid learning. Malcolm and Shelly are fun, easy to work with and very cool characters. By giving your child this book you are empowering them to learn about their own finances whether in the form of allowance, bus fare or money for birthday treats. Empowering your child with the basic knowledge of money from early can lead to him or her having a positive relationship with money later in life! When you empower a child to understand their own finances and the wider financial context they are living in, you empower them to become financially responsible adults.
