The Bashy Bus Mobile Unit was started by the "Children First Agency" in 2005 against the background of increasing risky sexual behaviour among adolescents and young people. As well, the bus was a response to allegations of young people engaging in unsafe sexual activities on public buses. This mobile unit is operated by a team of trained peer educators commonly known as the "Bashy Bus Kru". Using
