SMTC Career Institute SMTC-CI offers career training/finishing certification opportunities that will facilitate students to achieve their goals of career advancement.

SMTC Career Institute (SMTC-CI) formerly operated as part of the parent company SMTC Ltd. for over 10 years (1995 to 2006). Programmes were offered independently and in association with the Work Force Development Consortium as well as the Jamaica Social Investment Fund. SMTC-CI was re-established in 2017 to offer practical and relevant training/certification opportunities to all persons who are desirous of a professional career or to operate their own business.

This course is for Healthcare Professionals who would like to advance as it relates to treating patients with Dementia.

You will improve your knowledge and understanding of the cognitive health challenges and the most effective caregiving approaches to support persons suffering from Dementia.

This course has 2 components:

Online Component only
February 19th -March 6th
Mondays and Wednesdays (6 classes in total)
1 CEU

Clinical Hands-on Component
Sat. March 2nd OR Sun. March 3rd
