The Students' Union at the Caribbean Maritime Institute is made up of elected student members of the Department of Academics. The Students' Union is the official government body that represents all students who are registered. The Students' Union is the "VOICE" of the studensts, and as such it is the "middle man" betweet the Administrative team of the Institute and the Students.
