Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF) Pitch Competition Guidelines
Important Dates:
Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF): October 23rd - 25th 2023
Entry Submission Deadline: October 10th 2023
Guidelines for Participation:
Eligibility: This competition is open to all startups and entrepreneurs interested in presenting their ventures at the Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF).
Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Tuesday 10th October, 2023 to allow time for processing and selection. Late entries will not be considered.
Evaluation Criteria: Entries will be assessed based on the following criteria:
Team: Evaluating the expertise and diversity within your startup team.
Market Validation: Demonstrating understanding of market needs and validation of your product or service.
Product: Highlighting the uniqueness and functionality of your offering.
Business Model: Explaining the viability and scalability of your business model.
Founder's Storytelling Ability: Your ability to convey the vision and passion behind your startup.
Selection Process: Entries will be reviewed and shortlisted by our panel of experts.
Notification: Selected finalists will be notified via email, and their names will be posted on the Caribbean Investment Forum social media channels & website.
Pitch Preparation: Finalists will have the opportunity to prepare and refine their pitches with a group mentorship session online prior to the pitch event.
Prizes: Details about prizes and awards will be announced soon and will be similar to our previous events for a gauge in what to expect.
