These students' education is paid for through the Fearfully Made Ministries (FMM) Education Fund. The remaining 30% of enrollment spaces are provided to students who are able to pay 70%-100% of the cost of tailored education. VISION
To expand provision of full-time, tailored education to non-traditional learners at the secondary (high school) level; and to increase accessibility to such services to learners from all socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those who are financially challenged. APPROACH TO INSTRUCTION
In recognition of the critical and diverse role of the Creative Arts in inspiring and motivating inquiry, discovery and learning, FMCA takes an integrative approach to the use of the Arts – Art, Craft, Music, Dance, etc. Arts & Craft is therefore not only treated as a separate subject area but is also integrated into all subjects across the curriculum. Fearfully Made Christian Academy and Learning Centre (FMCA-LC), is led by an Entrepreneur/Philanthropist and Applied Associate Psychology & Applied Research Consultant, Nicole Opal. in Sociology and is completing an MSc. EXPERIENCE
Her teaching experience spans 22 years, in which time she has taught at the taught at the kinder, elementary, secondary and tertiary levels, including at The United Theological College of the West Indies, where she lectured in Introductory Psychology and at The University of the West Indies, Mona, where she served as Adjunct Tutor and Assistant Lecturer, teaching various courses in Undergraduate Psychology. Nicole also provides applied research and education consulting services to independent organizations. FMCA-LC GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
1.) Life-long learning is key to development.

2.) Learning happens through social experiences.

3.) Social experiences shape perception and understanding.

4.) Each learner enters the classroom or learning space with a full backpack of academic material, social experiences and psychological content.

5.) When the learner opens the backpack and retrieves academic material; social experiences and psychological content are also taken out and placed on the desk alongside.

6.) The facilitator(teacher) and learner(student) must acknowledge all the "invisible" content on the desk.

7.) Facilitator and learner must then work collaboratively to engage the influence of the "invisible content" on the learning space.

8.) Facilitator and learner must together explore viable, creative pathways, through which learning might begin. HOW WE BEGAN:
Fearfully Made Christian Academy and Learning Centre (FMCA-LC), is a subsidiary of Fearfully Made Ministries (FMM), a non-profit entity founded by Nicole in 2011. Through her foundation, Fearfully Made Ministries (FMM), she has centred most of her philanthropic work on capacity building, through the provision of education support services. Programmes are usually designed to serve vulnerable and disenfranchised groups in both in under-served and under-resourced communities. Fearfully Made Christian Academy and Learning Centre (FMCA-LC) evolved out of "Phonics First", a flagship programme of Fearfully Made Ministries (FMM), geared towards improving literacy, numeracy and overall academic performance.
