✈️ Celebrating Five Years of Growth!

On August 19, 2021, the Aeronautical School of the West Indies received approval to operate as an Approved Training Organisation, beginning Private Pilot Licence training with one Cessna 152, N25604.

Five years later, we have expanded our fleet to include Cessna 172s and now offer training for:
🛩️ Private Pilot Licence
🛩️ Instrument Rating
🛩️ Commercial Pilot Licence
🛩️ Flight Instructor Rating

We’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to our students, instructors, staff and supporters who continue to be part of our journey.

Our ASWI Summer Program 2026 has officially come to an end! Over the past few weeks, our students explored the exciting world of aviation through engaging classroom sessions, hands-on learning, flight experiences, and educational field trips that brought aviation to life.

We are proud to be fostering the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals in Jamaica, equipping young minds with the knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to pursue careers in aviation.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, parents, instructors, and partners for making this year’s program a tremendous success.
