We are still on cloud nine! KinderAcademy for Young Scholars entered the "Trash to Treasure" contest at the York Castle High School Science Fair, and our tiny scholars did the unthinkable, they beat out the high schoolers to take home FIRST PLACE! 🥇✨

We are so incredibly proud of Kayleah and Liam for representing us with such confidence. They showed the "big kids" that no dreamer is too small!

♻️ The Winning Designs:

Our talented KinderAcademy team turned everyday recyclables into high fashion:

• Kayleah’s Gown: A stunning creation modeled by Kayleah, meticulously crafted from 16 oz white plastic cups and vibrant kite paper. 👗✨
• The Accessories: To complete the look, her custom sandals were handmade from cardboard and scraps of material.
• Liam’s Ensemble: Liam rocked an outfit made entirely of newspaper, reinforced with cartridge paper lining for the perfect fit! 📰👔
• The Finishing Touch: His matching hat was a masterpiece of newspaper, cardboard, and bottle stoppers.

This victory is a testament to the incredible vision of our staff, who designed and built these pieces from scratch, and our parents, who supported us every step of the way. It’s amazing what can happen when a team pours their heart and soul into a project!
