You will find us in the school hall, accessed via the key stage 2 playground. Please remember to bring cash as we cannot accept card payments. Thank you

Well done to all our children for taking part in this morning’s mini sports event as part of Sports Week. With the extreme heat preventing our Sports Day at Bel Royal, we didn’t want anyone to miss out—so each year group enjoyed a range of activities before it got too hot. From javelin throwing and egg‑and‑spoon races to team challenges and house tournaments, the children showed brilliant effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout. The winning house will be revealed in tomorrow’s assembly. A huge well done to everyone for making the morning such a success! - Miss McCabe

Message for Year 6 parents

The children are bringing home 2 letters today. Please complete and return the forms to school tomorrow.

One letter is about an additional rehearsal after school tomorrow (until 4pm) and the other is about tickets for the shows next week.

Please also send first day of school photos to [email protected] for inclusion in the Leavers Assembly.

Message to Y6 parents: Please ensure pupils have a hat, water bottle and have had suncream applied before coming to school in the morning as they are off to play padel. They will be at school over the lunch period so lunches not affected.

End of the day collection arrangements

We will keep all pupils in the hall where we have air conditioning. Please enter school via the KS2 gates and make your way to the hall to collect your child/ren.

*Hot weather update*

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following the arrangements put in place today, I would like to confirm that the same optional early collection procedures will remain in place for both Wednesday and Thursday.

Parents and carers may collect children from Reception through to Year 4 from 1:00pm, should you wish to do so. As before, Years 5 and 6 will remain in school as their classrooms are air‑conditioned, but if you need to collect an older sibling at the same time, please contact the school office in advance.

Collection points will remain unchanged:

Years 1–4: Lower playground gate – please go directly to your child’s classroom door

Reception: Usual Reception gate

Nursery: As previously communicated to Nursery parents

These arrangements are entirely optional. School staff will continue to provide appropriate care and activities for all children who remain on site.

*Heatwave arrangements update *

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the excessive temperatures today, we are offering parents the option to collect their children early from Nursery through to Year 4 (Nursery parents have already been informed of arrangements).

Years 5 and 6 will remain in school as their classrooms are air-conditioned.

If you choose to collect your child, please note that the gates will be open from 1:05pm - 1.15pm, and please follow the arrangements below:

Years 1–4: Collection from the lower playground gate - please go to classroom door
Reception: Collection from the usual reception gate

Please note that this is entirely optional, and the school will continue to provide appropriate care and activities for all children who remain on site.

Should you have a sibling in Year 5 or Year 6 and family circumstances require you to collect at the same time, please let the office know in advance and collect them from the office.

These arrangements will be reviewed daily for the remainder of the week, depending on weather conditions.
