CP NEWS – THE BUMPER SUMMER FINALE!

Grab the popcorn… this is a BIG one! 🍿😂

Our final CP News of the summer holidays has landed and, at over 10 minutes long, we've got a LOT of news to get through!

This bumper edition pretty much sums up what an incredible summer we've had at Centrepoint. ❤️

💪 We finish our fantastic sessions with Transform Together and say a HUGE thank you to the amazing Coaches Andrei and Harry.

🌊 There's kayaking, paddleboarding and pontoon jumping… including Gaz attempting something that we're fairly sure was supposed to be a backflip. 😂

🚨 We head to CP East, where Paul and a zipline provide our reporters with some important breaking news!

🫧 We get completely covered at our Foam Party with DJ Sonic Veitch.

🌀 Things get VERY serious at the Centrepoint Beyblade Championships – especially when our own presenter Lola takes the crown 🏆, with Gabriella finishing 3rd!

🎓 And we celebrate Ashley, Jess, Ruby and Sandra completing their Level 3 courses at Highlands College – a brilliant achievement and one we're incredibly proud of. ❤️

But most importantly, this episode celebrates an absolutely brilliant summer at Centrepoint – children trying new things, learning new skills, building confidence, making memories and having a LOT of fun along the way.

A massive thank you to all the children, families, staff, coaches and organisations who helped make this summer what it was. 💙💛❤️

And a VERY special shout-out to our brilliant CP News presenting team – Lola, Gabriella, Chloe and Samanta! 🎤📺👏

They've taken on the news desk, delivered some very serious breaking news 😂, got involved with the jokes and helped turn our little idea of CP News into something we've absolutely loved making this summer.

You have all been SUPERSTARS! ⭐❤️

CP SPARK LEGENDS!

We’ve loved seeing so many of our children getting stuck into their FREE CP SPARK Passports and collecting stamps along the way!

And of course… completing your passport deserves a reward!

Our CP Spark Legends have been receiving some brilliant FREE goodies, including 🏅 medals, 👕 CP Spark Legend T-shirts, 🛹 fingerboards and 📜 certificates!

The passports are all about encouraging children to try new things, learn new skills, build confidence, challenge themselves and most importantly… HAVE FUN! 💙💛❤️

Every stamp is another experience, another achievement and another memory made.

🩵 An Act of Kindness That Made Our Day! 🩵

As part of our focus on acts of kindness, we were shocked earlier this week to see a post about lots of Pokémon cards from Paperclix being ripped open and discarded after purchase.

Our People Manager, Noush, commented on the Paperclix Facebook post, and we were delighted when Jade got in touch after hearing about Centrepoint’s brand-new Pokémon Club! 🥰

Jade very kindly offered to donate some cards to our children, and we were over the moon to receive 5 booster boxes of Korean/Chinese Pokémon cards, along with sleeves! That’s roughly 93 packs for our children to have fun opening and more than enough to make sure every child gets at least one pack!

It’s so lovely to see how one simple act of kindness can turn into something that brings so much excitement and joy to others. We know our children are going to have an amazing time opening their packs, discovering their cards and hopefully finding some special ones along the way! 🃏✨ watch this space!

A huge THANKS to Jade and everyone at Paperclix for your incredible generosity and for helping us make our new Pokémon Club even more exciting. Turning a negative into a positive is always heartwarming 🩵

CP News is all about giving our children the opportunity to take the lead – presenting, interviewing, reporting, getting involved behind the camera and, most importantly, having loads of fun while building their confidence and communication skills.

Centrepoint x Transform Together Fitness !

What a session! 💪

As part of our CP SPARK Summer Programme, our children headed over to Transform Together to put themselves through their paces!

They got stuck into a brilliant session packed with fitness, challenges, teamwork and plenty of fun – pushing themselves, encouraging each other and having a proper go at everything thrown their way! 🙌

A HUGE thank you to Coach Andrei Ciobanu for once again being absolutely fantastic with our children. The energy, encouragement and enthusiasm he brings to every session is unreal, and the kids absolutely love it! 👏❤️
