A fantastic DT Week for Year 6.
Pupils designed and constructed moveable vehicles with mechanisms and weapons, demonstrating excellent research, resilience, problem‑solving, designing, constructing and evaluation skills.
Even when mechanical issues cropped up, they worked together to diagnose, repair, and improve their designs.
A brilliant week of creativity and engineering.

Peer Mediation Ceremony! 👏
Congratulations and thank you to two of our peer mediators who represented VCP at a mediation event yesterday. The boys spoke brilliantly to a packed room on the theme “Resolution in a Restless World” and did themselves, and the school, proud. 🌟

Blue skies, big smiles and plenty of cricket for our Year 3 boys! ☀️🏏

Year 5 have enjoyed climbing over the last few weeks. They’ve developed their traversing skills as well as creating games for each other to help decide which climbing route would be best.

Last night some of our boys who have peripatetic music lessons joined us for a concert where they performed brilliantly to parents!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former VCP teacher, Chrissy de Gruchy.

Chrissy was a highly regarded member of our school community who will be remembered with great affection by colleagues, pupils and families.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.
