Ann’s Walk

Today we all took part in our walk in memory of Mrs Revell. It was a fantastic day, Foundation and year 1 walked around the grounds of the school whilst year 2 - 6 walked the Junior park run course. Everyone really enjoyed coming together to celebrate Mrs Revell and even her son Tom came down to see us.

The charity very close to Mrs Revell’s heart, Great Ormond Street hospital will receive the donations that we have received which all our families and friends of Mrs Revell have so kindly donated, we are currently at £1,400!

If you would like to donate please see the link below.

Thank you

Government of Jersey 10/10/2022

Dear parents

I would like to invite you to join us to talk about improving health and wellbeing for families.

The Public Health Department is launching Jersey’s first Big Health and Wellbeing Conversation and all Islanders are invited to join the conversation.

Starting on Monday 10 October (World Mental Health Day) and finishing on Friday 21 October, the team will be hosting an online survey and having in-person conversations across the island.

We will be asking Islanders what works to protect and improve their health and wellbeing; and what more they would like to see from Government.

The feedback from Islanders will be used to shape the Public Health strategy for the Island.

The Public Health team would like to invite you to Janvrin Primary School on Wednesday 12 October, from 11:30 am to 1pm in the staffroom. Refreshments will be served.

Please consider coming in to talk with our public health colleagues as your views will help in better understanding our community and planning future improvements for Islanders’ health and wellbeing.

If you are unable to attend, you can join the online conversation by completing the survey: gov.je/healthconversation .

This can be completed in four languages: English, Portuguese, Polish and Romanian.

The online survey will be promoted through posters and postcards across the island and on social media platforms.

Please do consider taking the time to engaging with the conversation and complete the online survey yourself and with the children and young people in your home.

Please do also feel free to forward the Big Health and Wellbeing Conversation information to anyone else you think may be interested in having their say.

We are developing our KS2 corridor over the summer holidays and these bookcases are no longer required. There is still plenty of life left in them and Mr Townsend has carefully prepared them for their new home. If you or anyone you know would like take one or all of the bookcases please call the main office.

Dimensions are in the photos.

We are unable to transport them so transportation would need to be organised by whoever wants them.

They will need to be collected by Friday 15th July.

This is a reminder that it is non uniform tomorrow with all donations going to Jersey Marine Conservation who kindly spent time with the children recently showing them the touch tank and teaching the children about sea life around Jersey.
