The Advanced Trauma Life Support Courses are run in Jersey under the Auspices of the Royal College o
The ATLS Courses have been running in Jersey for over 20 years and we were the 6 th centre in the UK to run these courses
These were set up by Paul Clifford who has since retired to the golf course! We now have a new course director Govind Naidu and a new course coordinator Jenny Stubbs and have just run our first course with " the new management team
ATLS JERSEY it’s delighted to be running a Provider Course this September
The course is full as we have had to give priority to local doctors but watch this space … more courses in the Spring 24 which will be an Open Course thanks to all at Education at the RCSE for their support and of course Miss Cornwell from Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge and last but not least Mrs Elder - Jersey
Am so delighted to report that ATLS Jersey is planning to restart courses this September

Ok another update I have reserved May 27/8 for our next 10th Edition Course
The application is going into the Royal College of Surgeons this weekend and faculty invitations can then be sent
I will have 16 places for doctors of FY2 level and above plus 4 places for Nurse Observers

Ok we have not posted for sometime and now for some exciting news
We are looking to run a provider course this Spring
Priority will be given to doctors working at the General Hospital Jersey

To all doctors who have expressed an interest in the next Jersey ATLS course we were planning a course in September but due to the uncertainty caused by Covid 19 all plans have been put on hold
I will be running a mini refresher course to anyone ie. Jersey Doctors and Nurses interested as and when possible
