Our babies and toddlers have been busy exploring and getting stuck into play 💛
With the new resources, they’ve been using their senses, trying things out and building confidence in their own way.
Lots of little hands exploring textures, moving things around and figuring things out as they go.
There’s been plenty of simple, everyday play that supports their development – helping with communication, creativity and early problem-solving without them even realising it.
Lots of smiles, noise and busy little moments all round.

Life in preschool lately 🌿
The children have been really enjoying the new resources indoors & out.
Over the last few weeks they’ve been busy exploring, trying new things.
There’s been a mix of imaginative play and hands-on activities, and it’s been nice to see their confidence and curiosity continue to build. Lots of teamwork, conversations and everyday discoveries as they make the space their own.
We’re also making the most of these last few months together before they head off to school, watching their friendships grow and seeing how far they’ve all come.

We're launching the application form for parents/carers to access the new 2-3-year-old childcare funding in February and we need you to help us test it.

This is an opportunity to view the form and provide feedback on usability. Please be advised you will not be submitting your form during this session.

Good morning everyone,

Centrepoint will be open as usual today following safety checks on site. Aside from a few fence panels down, everything is safe and operational.
We kindly ask that staff and families take extra care when travelling in, as conditions may still be unsettled in places.

Please note: there may be delays in transporting children to schools this morning due to road conditions and bus availability. We will keep you updated if this impacts your child.

Dear Parents and Carers,

At this stage, there are no plans to close the nursery. However, building and route inspections will be carried out at 7:00am on Friday to ensure everything is safe.

Should a closure or delayed opening be required, we will communicate this to you directly as soon as possible.

Please be assured that the safety of our children and staff is our highest priority, and we are taking all necessary precautions. We will keep you promptly informed if there are any changes.

Following the recent weather update to Storm Goretti, we will be following Government guidance. If schools are instructed to close on Friday, the nursery will also be closed.
