Nestling Day Care Nursery is an independent private Day Nursery registered for forty-seven children between three months old and pre-school age.

It meets in excellent facilities that include a large, pleasant enclosed garden with a soft play surface. Children enjoy fresh air and a stimulating environment that promotes all aspects of their early development. Nestling is open from 8.00am until 5.30pm Monday – Friday throughout the year, closing only for one week between Christmas and the New Year. It offers full time places designed to meet

Job Title: Nursery Officer/Nursery Assistant

Nestling Day Care Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Officer to join our dynamic and friendly team. This is an opportunity to further a career in Childcare and Education
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of child development and a passion for Childcare in general
To be responsible for a group of Key children, planning and reviewing children’s progress and achievements regularly and recording them appropriately to ensure that planned outcomes have been met
Excellent communication skills when dealing with staff and parents is essential.

Qualifications :
Level 3 Diploma in Child Care & Education
Level 2 Child Care & Education
It would be desirable for applicants to be First Aid and Child Protection trained. A valid DBS certificate and being on the update service would be an advantage but this can be arranged.

We offer an excellent working environment in a purpose built Nursery for 47 children from 3 months to school age.
We offer a 4 day working week and extra holidays between Christmas and New Year included in your contract.

We offer a full induction programme and an appointed mentor during your probationary period for support and guidance throughout.

Just to let you know tomorrow the children will be having their Easter party at the nursery. We will be having a special visitor coming to meet the children the (Easter Bunny), he will be here to give all the children a small Easter gift.

Nestling Day Care Nursery is looking for a Motivated & Enthusiastic Nursery officer Level 3 Trained
The successful candidate will be required to work 38 hours per week on a 4 day week rota. The position is permanent an immediate start will be offered to the right candidate
It would be desirable for applicants to be First Aid and Child Protection trained. A valid DBS certificate and being on the update service would be an advantage but this can be arranged. Candidate must show enthusiasm within their practice and the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with both children and parents.
