🏎️⚡ Our Year 6 pupils have been putting their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test through the Greenpower Formula Goblin programme!
Working alongside pupils from other primary schools, our aspiring engineers have helped to build and race electric go-karts – designing bodywork, assembling mechanical components and taking on important roles including marketing, photography, pit crew, safety and design.
This fantastic project develops mathematical, engineering and practical skills while showing just how exciting STEM learning can be. The highlight, of course, was race day, where our team competed in speed, circuit and driving challenges against schools from across the Island.
We're incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork shown by our pupils throughout the project.
A huge thank you to St Michael's Preparatory School for including us in this inspiring Sustainability and Social Impact Programme, and to Rathbones Investment Management International for sponsoring the project for a third consecutive year and helping to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
