Proud to share this from our team at Lifeline Group
Awareness is the easy bit. Doing the work is harder, and it's what we train people for.
Confidence, before the moment needs it.
It's Mental Health Awareness Week.
The theme this year is Action. Which we like, because awareness on its own doesn't do much.
Our team takes action every day. Quietly, without posting about it. Sitting with someone. Listening properly and turning up again, tomorrow and the next day.
This is what care looks like.

Worth a read if you're out on the water this summer. And if fire safety training is on your list for 2026, get in touch; it's what we do. ☀️
Jersey Fire & Rescue
As the warmer weather arrives, we are reminding boat owners and crews how vital fire safety is on board, especially the importance of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.
Fires on boats can escalate extremely quickly due to flammable vapours building up in confined spaces. Early warning is critical.
Make sure your boat is fitted with working smoke alarms and CO alarms, tested regularly and correctly positioned to alert you to danger as early as possible.
Carbon monoxide is a silent, deadly gas that cannot be seen or smelled, alarms provide essential protection when engines, heaters or cooking equipment are in use.
You should also:
✅ Maintain fuel lines and engines
✅ Keep fire extinguishers accessible and know how to use them
✅ Ensure suitable safety equipment is on board
