We are looking forward to seeing the children next Tuesday (8th) for the start of the new year. A reminder that school is closed next Thursday (10th) as this is another training day for staff.
Hot meals can now be ordered for up to half term - please order asap.
Our new Reception children will receive hot meals information in the next few weeks.
Mr Robson will be posting some videos to show how some of the access to school has changed, ahead of next week.

Our Summer School has got off to a flying start this week. The children have been really engaged during morning lessons and have turned creative during the afternoons. Water colour painting, collage, computer programming, design challenges and even a running club!

Last week, we were delighted to attend the grand opening of the new sign at the Recycling Centre. Margot, from Year 1 won the design competition for the letter Y and was at the opening to see her fantastic design. It looks great and we are very proud of Margot.

Breaking News:
It has been confirmed that we are an Oracy Centre of Excellence. Our school development over the last 3 years has been ratified and we now have the confirmed status. Huge congratulations to all the children and staff, especially Miss Sampson and Mrs Crocker who led the project.
