Thank you to Jersey Music Service for attending a Year 7 assembly today to talk to the boys about learning a string instrument, and showcasing the types of instruments and music they could play - from traditional orchestral music on the cello to Dua Lipa on an electric violin! 🎻

We're sure there'll be some budding string players amongst the boys and we can't wait to watch them uncover and develop their talents 🤩

Today after school, we held our 'Meet the Teacher' sessions for Primary parents. These sessions are always a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet their son's new class teacher, ask any questions they may have and find out about learning opportunities and expectations for the year ahead 💙

Today is INSET Day, as staff prepare to welcome students back tomorrow. We pray that the year ahead will be filled with purpose, opportunity and growth for every member of our Lasallian family.

We also take this opportunity to welcome our new staff members, including our new Headteacher Mr Belcher. We look forward to introducing him more to you soon, and we're excited to watch the College further prosper under his leadership.

Congratulations to De La Salle Old Boys Zac, Rhys and Conor, who have completed their first Ironman 70.3 in Tallin, Estonia.

The boys all completed this incredible athletic feat (1.9km swim, 90km cycle & 21.1km run!) within 6 minutes of each other, finishing in around 5 hours 30 minutes.

Amazing work boys, we’re incredibly proud of you 💙

Congratulations to everyone who received their A Level results today 🩵

It's been wonderful to have so many students popping into the College throughout the morning to collect their results in person, and share this special occasion with their teachers and peers.

We are absolutely delighted with the outstanding performance of our boys this year. Mr Turner would like to personally congratulate all of our boys, many of whom not only achieved their personal best but surpassed their own expectations. Their success is a testament to their dedication and determination.

These results demonstrate the strength of the De La Salle community and the ambition, character and potential of our young men. We look forward to seeing them build on this success as they take the next steps in their educational journeys. God bless 🙏

As we gathered for our end-of-year College Mass this morning, we gave thanks for the friendships made, the support received and all we have achieved together this year.

Thank you to Father Ambrose for leading us in prayer and for the last two years as part of our College community. We wish him every blessing as he moves on to his new post.

We also said farewell to the colleagues who are beginning new chapters, and celebrated Rhodes House for winning this year’s House Competition.

Wishing all our students, staff and families a wonderful summer break. God bless 💙 ☀️
