✈️ What a display it was Jersey International Air Display! Jersey Int Air Display

A huge thank you to all the crews and support teams who came through our facility here at Jersey Aero Club — it was a privilege hosting you. From classic warbirds to jets like the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 taxiing right past our balcony, it was a brilliant few days for aviation on the island.

Even from the club, the display was incredibly well supported — we had somewhere between 30 and 50 people up on the balcony, right on the runway edge, taking it all in. Great to see the community come together for it.

This shot also caught G-JJER, one of our Skywalker PA-28 Warriors, in the circuit — a nice reminder that flight training carries on FBO Skywalker & Flight Training all year round.

Thanks again to everyone involved in making the display happen. Already looking forward to next year!

Meet Marathon Mike! An incredible story to share with you all - Mike Knobler from Atlanta, GA is on a mission to partake in 26 marathons, in 26 countries, in 26 weeks, in the year 2026! This is his third visit to the island, with plans to come back to us on his ventures in the coming weeks. At the time of writing, he has completed 14 of his 26, with his most recent marathon in Kerry, Ireland. He has departed Jersey en route to Moldova.

Working in partnership with Skywalker Flight Training and Jersey College for Girls here in , it’s great to see our local young aviators get their wings through the Jersey Aero Club 🤝🫡

When I first took the controls of an aircraft, everything changed. Flying didn’t just give me a career — it gave me a purpose. And I’ve always believed that a dream like this shouldn’t come down to how much you can afford.

That’s why we are so proud to share this.

Skywalker Flight Training, in partnership with Jersey Aero Club and supported by a Government of Jersey 🇯🇪 skills grant, is offering ONE aspiring local pilot the chance to have their entire professional training fully funded — from Commercial Pilot Licence right through to Flight Instructor.

You’ll train with a professional pilot training organisation in the UK, then come home to Jersey to launch your career — inspiring and training the next generation of Island pilots. 🛩️

If you’ve earned your PPL but always thought a professional flying career was out of reach… this is your moment.

To apply you’ll need to be:

🟣Jersey-qualified resident
🟣Aged 18–50
🟣Hold a UK CAA PPL(A)
🟣Able to obtain a Class 1 Medical, and have 50+ hours as Pilot-in-Command.
