We are currently dealing with a burst water main on La Rue au Blancq , St Clement ( road between top of Ponterson Lane and Clos de Roncier) The road will be closed to traffic and is unlikely to be re opened until tomorrow afternoon as the tarmac will have to be reinstated once the repair is done . Jayen Limited and Jersey Water apologise for any inconvenience caused by these emergency works.

***La Pouquelaye - Round 2 of repairs***

When we completed our emergency repairs in La Pouquelaye last week, we detected a secondary leak, which we will be fixing tomorrow.

To keep disruption to a minimum for residents and motorists, we will start the repairs from 09:30 and hope to have everything fixed by school rush hour.

A one-way diversion will be in place with reverse flow up Richmond Road.

The school and Liberty Bus have been informed and will advise of any alternative travel arrangements.

We don't anticipate any issues with water supply to properties, but our Customer Services team will be on hand for anyone living or working in the area of La Pouquelaye.

We will keep you updated on our progress and thanks for your patience.

Mind your step at Val de la Mare...

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be doing some essential works on a small section near the reservoir's edge to repair the footpath and bank.

You can still enjoy your walks and runs around the whole reservoir. There will just be a slightly narrower section of path where we will be doing these repairs.

Follow the signs and take care, as there will be operational vehicles operating in the area.

***Customers in the Gorey and Archirondel area***

Our team has now completed the emergency repairs and your water should gradually come back on.

It may be temporarily discoloured or cloudy but this is normal after repairs on the mains network and will clear if you run your kitchen tap for five minutes or so. We will of course credit you for any water used to do this so please contact our Customer Services team tomorrow during office hours.

It’s certainly been a wild night out there. Thanks for your patience while our team
and Jayen Limited have worked in some
tough conditions to get your water supply back on.

Nearly through the worst of it 👍

🌊💧 New refill point! 💧🌊

You just need the bottle…

Because now you can refill at another Island spot!

In celebration of World Water Day this past weekend, we’ve unveiled our latest community refill point and this one is in St John. Located in the heart of the village, everyone can now fill up and hydrate while on the go.

Big shout out to St John Youth and Community Trust who have partnered with us to fund the new fountain. What a great addition to the village that will give people access to free water and more importantly reduce the need for single-use plastic bottles!
