Heads up! We've published two Reading for Pleasure Reports today.

The reports follow more than 4,500 children and young people from every Government of Jersey primary and secondary school taking part in a major research project to explore reading habits, attitudes and experiences.

Jersey Shell Detectives
Discover the shells of Jersey’s beaches!

Join local author and artist Jo Logue on Thursday 30 July at 2:30pm for a fun, hands-on introduction to the wonderful shells of Jersey. Discover where to find them, learn how to identify some of our most common ones, and explore a collection of real shells up close. Children will become “Jersey Shell Detectives” with a fun shell identification activity inspired by Jo’s book Shells of Jersey. A relaxed and interactive session for children aged 5+ and their families.

Congratulations to the 29 Education Support Staff who recently graduated from the CACHE Level 2 and 3 Programme.

Delivered in partnership with Highlands College, this fully-funded programme brought together staff from 20 schools.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and achievement.
