How we came about...

Origin

As a parent myself, I know how stressful it can be getting everybody up and out on time in the morning.

Making sure there is bread in the cupboard, deciding what to put in my son's lunchbox and then hoping we actually remember to take it with us on the school run.

One day as I was looking for yet another missing Tupperware lid, I thought to myself "If only somebody else would do this for me".

And the Box Clever idea was born

"I've always been conscientious about my impact on the environment"

As a family we always pick up any plastic we find during trips to the beach and the boot of the car is always full ready for another trip to the recycling centre.

I wanted Box Clever to match up to those values, so using Vegware packaging made from plants, not plastic, was a no brainer.

Working with the Credible Food Project, Box Clever plans for all its packaging and food waste to be collected and recycled locally into high grade compost.

We hope that the Credible Food Project will have capacity to support this by Q3 2019.
