St. Christopher's School and Nursery St Christopher’s is an independent school and nursery for boys and girls aged 2 to 11 years. St.

Christopher's School is a traditional style school which treats each child as an individual. We have a 'family' atmosphere and can give the children a great deal of attention as we have small class sizes. The school was founded in 1964
and started as a nursery facility which very quickly became an educational facility with the added feature of after school and holiday care. In 1971 the school move

d to it's town premises in Stopford Road.

2006 marked another milestone in the school's history when the main premises have been moved to the current location in St Clement with the town property being used as a drop off, collection and after school care facility. Our school's main strengths lie in :
- encouraging independent learning by using a variety of teaching methods
- creating a supportive environment
- nurturing constructive relationships with parents
