Forte dei Marmi is one of Italy's most prestigious jet-set destinations, attracting celebrities and VIPs since the 1950s and maintaining its exclusive appeal to this day.
Despite its historical role as a key point for transporting marble from the Apuan Alps across the Mediterranean, the town itself has neither a marina nor a harbour where superyachts – or even smaller vessels – can berth.
Of course, the coastline can easily be reached by tender, but it is not possible to moor yachts directly in Forte dei Marmi.
