📣 Manca una settimana alla nostra diretta “AI a scuola: cosa tenere, cosa cambiare, cosa evitare?”

Non serve essere esperti di Intelligenza Artificiale per partecipare. Basta un’esperienza fatta in classe, una curiosità o un dubbio: anche non sapere da dove cominciare è un buon punto di partenza.

Giovedì 15 ottobre, alle 16.30, ne parleremo insieme a Maria Carla Italia e Luca Radassao, professionisti del progetto europeo AI Explorers. Un confronto aperto rivolto in particolare agli insegnanti della scuola primaria e secondaria di primo grado, per capire quali usi dell’AI possono aiutare davvero la didattica e quali richiedono maggiore attenzione.

Today is the day: PM Agora 2026 participants are officially arriving in Verona! 🇮🇹🌍

As a local organising partner, we’ve been working hard to make sure everyone feels welcome and that their time in Verona is not only productive, but truly meaningful.

We can’t wait to finally meet the people who will join us for two intense days of learning, exchange, networking and new ideas. And this year many participants are travelling to Verona not only from across Europe, but also from other parts of the world! 🌎

𝗔 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗿𝘂𝘀!

Glocal Factory is in Nicosia from 𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 for the AI Explorers Training Week, hosted by European University Cyprus. The Erasmus+ project explores how artificial intelligence can support creativity and digital literacy in education.

Together with participants from Cyprus, Romania, Portugal, Ireland and Finland, we are taking time to understand the technology, try it out and discuss the choices it brings into teaching and learning.
Yesterday’s first day was intense, with lively exchanges about AI, machine learning, large language models and what learning means in the age of generative AI. One question stayed with us:
💬 “The question is no longer what AI can do, but which part of the job AI should do.”

When does AI help us learn? Which tasks should we delegate? And how can we keep curiosity, creativity and human judgement at the centre of the experience?

The photos capture the 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 in the room: people sharing perspectives, asking questions and working through ideas together. And there is plenty ahead! Throughout the week, we will work on classroom scenarios, critical and ethical use of AI, and ways to make teaching materials more inclusive.

🏡 A shared space becomes a community when everyone can feel part of it.
At the ''Casetta'' dell’Ex Lido in Verona, the social cooperative Milonga together with the Task Force participants and the local communityare bringing new life to the area through care, culture and participation. 🌱
With In Loco, we are opening this space to even more people, especially those with a migrant background, creating new opportunities to meet, take part and build something together. 🤝

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘁. 🌱

This month, the Skills for Transition for NEETs programme takes us to 𝗢𝘀𝗶𝗷𝗲𝗸, Croatia, where Udruga Breza is involving 35 young people in a hands-on journey through sustainability, creativity and community action.

Participants will visit Č𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗻𝗮 š𝘂𝗺𝗮, a family business dedicated to biodynamic and organic agriculture, and 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗦 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, discovering two very different examples of ideas being put into practice.

They then become the designers themselves. During the interactive 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀, the participants explore challenges from their own communities, selecting the issues that matter most to them and develop practical responses. With support from Udruga Breza and experts from Zeleni Osijek and Društveni atelje, ideas gradually become prototypes, plans, products and awareness campaigns.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆.

💙 As ParticipACTION comes to an end, one part of this experience stands out for us, at Glocal Factory: working closely with secondary school students.

Their questions, perspectives and ideas made every exchange stimulating. Together, we explored the issues that matter to them, developed recommendations and brought their voices into conversations with local stakeholders. 🗣️

Across different EU countries, young people also turned their ideas into policy papers on disinformation, civic engagement and language barriers in public services. 🇪🇺

Thank you to every student, school, stakeholder and partner who took part. We are taking your ideas and energy with us into what comes next! ✨
