Altair Robotics Labs

Altair Robotics Labs Altair Robotics Laboratory is an Italian Center of Excellence in the research and development of advanced robotic systems.

It was founded in 2001 by computer science Professor Paolo Fiorini and currently hosts about 30 researchers. The ALTAIR Robotics Laboratory was founded in 2000, concurrently with the establishment of the courses in Automatic Control and Robotics in the Computer Science Department of the University of Verona. The aim of this laboratory is to lead research and development on non-conventional robo

tic systems that can interact with the surrounding environment in multiple ways, from teleoperation to autonomous behaviours. Of particular interest to us are the areas of: robotic surgery, human-robot interaction, elderly and disabled care, service robotics, search and rescue robotics.

📚👱‍♀️ MORE GIRLS IN STEM 🤖🧮

Good news! The call for applications for the allocation of 300 scholarships is now available online for female students enrolled in degree programs in scientific and technological disciplines, including Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Medical Systems Engineering for Individuals at Università degli Studi di Verona.

The application for participation in the competition must be submitted by 13th January 2024, all information at the link below.

The ALTAIR Robotics Laboratory was founded in 2000, concurrently with the establishment of the courses in Automatic Control and Robotics in the Computer Science Department of the University of Verona.
