The series continues with a powerful episode exploring the Quipu Project and its work amplifying the voices of Peruvian women affected by forced sterilizations.
Through storytelling and listening, personal testimonies become acts of resistance — transforming individual experiences into collective memory, recognition, and a wider struggle for justice and dignity beyond victimhood.
This episode reflects on the power of survivors reclaiming their narratives and challenging silence through community, memory, and advocacy.
A moving conversation on voice, memory, and the fight for justice.

Starvation is not a coincidence. It can be genocidal.
Under the Genocide Convention, genocide includes acts intended to destroy a protected group by deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction.
When access to food, water, and basic subsistence is systematically restricted, starvation can become one of those conditions.
Analysts and humanitarian experts have raised such concerns in relation to Gaza and El Fasher in Sudan, where forced starvation and restrictions on aid have had devastating consequences for civilian populations.
Review the reports and evidence, including analyses of “deprivation by design,” in our new resource, Act Against Forced Starvation, developed by Global Campus alumni from across regions, in collaboration with the Global Campus of Human Rights’ E-learning Department.

Human rights higher education in Central Asia continued in 2025 at the intersection of security, reform and sustainability.
(MAHRS) offers a clear example of this in the 2025 Global Campus Annual Report, where the Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Sustainability continued to equip students with the legal tools, policy perspective and regional grounding needed to navigate complex governance and human rights environments across Central Asia.
In 2025, MAHRS expanded its academic and institutional reach through new international partnerships, curriculum innovation and stronger teaching on children’s rights and climate justice. What students valued most was a learning environment that builds confidence, critical thinking and professional direction in contexts where human rights education is still too often treated as peripheral.
