⛵ Practical Toolbox – From Land to Water

Building confidence starts before setting sail.

As part of the SAILWISE training, participants explored practical tools designed to create a safer, more inclusive, and empowering sailing experience for women.

🧭 The session included:
🔹 Confidence-building drills through land-based simulations.
🔹 Open discussions on boat culture, including hierarchy, control, and alcohol awareness.
🔹 An introductory briefing to prepare participants for the practical sailing activities.

By combining practical exercises with meaningful discussions, we help coaches create environments where every woman feels respected, confident, and ready to take the helm.

📣Most people assume women on a sailboat are there to catch some sun at the bow. Then she shows up: wind in her hair, sunglasses slightly crooked, and that unmistakable look that says, “The helm is mine, deal with it.”

🧭Women at the helm know how to handle sails, ropes, and waves with the same skill they use to run group chats and back-to-back meetings on land.
It’s not just skill—it’s style. Out at sea, she doesn’t need to shout orders—one raised eyebrow is enough to get the crew moving.

🐠Every time we go at sea we don’t just steer boats, we steer right through sterotypes and overturn the traditional rileva on board.
