Students from African, Mediterranean, Balkan and Middle Eastern Countries arrive with different backgrounds, aspirations and experiences — all united by a shared commitment to building more sustainable and resilient agrifood systems.

CIHEAM Bari is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2026–2027 Master’s Programmes in:

1- Sustainable Water & Land Management in Agricultural Ecosystems

2- Integrated Pest Management

3- Organic Farming and Food Systems

4- Sustainable Development and Agroecosystems Resilience

5- Open Innovation and Youth Entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean Agrifood Sector

🎯These programmes are designed to strengthen technical and scientific capacities in key areas of sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, and rural development. Delivered within an international and multicultural academic environment, they provide advanced training, applied research opportunities, and direct contact with CIHEAM Bari’s expertise and cooperation activities.

5th Call for projects in our Transnational/Virtual Access programme will open on March 9th, 2026.

Results from the 4th TA/VA Call are expected to be published later this month.

NEW: starting with open call #5, applicants will be able to request access to services from a single Research Infrastructure.

While it will be now possible to tailor applications to focus on specific services within one Research Infrastructure - if that best suits your research goals - your project must still clearly demonstrate its contribution to the agroecology transition.

As single-RI applications become eligible, AgroServ remains dedicated to integrating services across Europe. Therefore, transdisciplinary projects involving multiple RIs will continue to be encouraged.
