The 3rd Cross-border Coastal Energy Hub meeting for the Coastenergy project was held on line on May 27, 2021, organised by Management Engineering LAB - University of Udine.

The event included a brief overview of the Coastenergy project, a short presentation of the ongoing feasibility studies for blue energy installations by project partners, and two open discussions in the afternoon session, respectively on marine heat pumps and wave energy.

On the 4th of June, UNICAM - Universita' degli Studi di Camerino organized the 1st meeting of the local Coastal Energy Hub, as a virtual thematic meeting with a small group of 8 local stakeholders belonging to public authorities, enterprises and associations. The meeting focused on the criticalities of the permitting procedures for Blue Energy plants, and on the need of procedural simplification to promote their development in the Marche region. UNICAM intends to carry out other similar meetings in the next months, as long as social distancing due to COVID-19 will be necessary… stay tuned!
