TeamS55 is heading to Vigna di Valle (Rome) for a unique event dedicated to the rich heritage of Italian aviation! ✈️
We’re proud to collaborate with the MUSAM – Historical Museum of the Italian Air Force for a special day that blends innovation with aeronautical history.

During the event, we’ll showcase our project through interactive activities, technical insights, and most importantly, present our S5502 prototype right where its story finds its deepest meaning.

The initiative has been granted the patronage of CESMA – Giulio Douhet Center for Military Aerospace Studies, recognizing its technical, historical, and scientific value.

In the case of our S5502 prototype, their expertise was crucial in the design and production of the engine mount assembly, which includes the structure that supports the engine and propellers. By utilizing Additive Manufacturing techniques, we were able to create these critical components with precision and efficiency, contributing significantly to the success of our flight.

At TeamS55, we rely on Beta CAE Systems software to perform critical simulations for our seaplane project. ✈️ From refining complex geometries to creating high-quality meshes for CFD and FEM analysis, ANSA pre-processor and META post-processor allow us to evaluate and optimize our hydrodynamic and aerodynamic designs with precision. ⚙️🔧
