Special consideration is also given to student-athletes who at WINS can successfully combine the demands of competitive sport with a rigorous and internationally recognized academic pathway. 🏆

To celebrate, our traditional volleyball and football matches between graduating students and teachers took place—and this year, the students claimed the victory!
The day continued with celebrations, art therapy sessions, and activities designed to honor the end of this important chapter. 🍀

A day filled with joy, connection, and lasting memories as our students prepare for what comes next. 🌎

Tra emozione, entusiasmo e un pizzico di sana competizione, i nostri studenti di Grade 12 hanno salutato la fine delle lezioni segnando un momento speciale nel loro percorso scolastico. 🏆🙌

Per festeggiare, come da tradizione, si sono svolte le attesissime partite di pallavolo e calcio tra diplomandi e docenti… e quest’anno sono stati gli studenti a conquistare la vittoria! 🍀

La giornata è proseguita con momenti di festa, attività di arte terapia e iniziative pensate per celebrare insieme la fine di questo importante capitolo. Un’occasione ricca di emozioni, condivisione e ricordi che accompagneranno i nostri studenti nel loro futuro. 🌎

This month, our Primary students brought energy, teamwork, and PYP spirit to life during Sports Day with our House Olympics! 🏅

Students joined forces in their House teams — Water, Fire, Stone, and Land — taking on exciting challenges as they competed for the PYP House Olympics Trophy. But the real victory started even before the games began: each House reflected on their goals and explored what true teamwork looks and sounds like. And the day was a powerful reminder that collaboration makes us stronger.

Questo mese, i nostri studenti della Primaria hanno dato vita all'energia, al lavoro di squadra e allo spirito PYP durante la Giornata dello Sport con le nostre House Olimpiadi domestiche! 🏅

Gli studenti hanno unito le forze nelle squadre delle loro House – Acqua, Fuoco, Pietra e Terra – affrontando sfide entusiasmanti mentre gareggiavano per il Trofeo delle House Olympics PYP. Ma la vittoria è arrivata ancor prima dell’inizio dei giochi: ogni House ha riflettuto sui propri obiettivi ed esplorato come si presenta il vero lavoro di squadra. E quella giornata è stata un potente promemoria del fatto che la collaborazione ci rende più forti.

Un ringraziamento speciale al Mr. Toth e alla Ms. Silvia per aver reso possibile questo fantastico evento!

What happens when parents become students for a morning? ✨

At our very first IB Morning, we opened our classrooms and invited families to step into their children’s shoes — not as observers, but as active learners. Together, they questioned, explored, discussed, and reflected, experiencing firsthand the power of inquiry-based teaching and learning. 🌎🏆

It was inspiring to see parents and students side by side. For a few hours, learning became a shared adventure. 🚀🚀

Cosa succede quando i genitori diventano studenti per una mattina? ✨

Durante la nostra primissima mattinata IB, abbiamo aperto le nostre aule e invitato le famiglie a mettersi nei panni dei propri figli, non come osservatori, ma come studenti attivi. Insieme, hanno posto domande, esplorato, discusso e riflettuto, sperimentando in prima persona la potenza dell'insegnamento e dell'apprendimento basati sull'indagine. 🌎🏆

È stato stimolante vedere genitori e studenti fianco a fianco. Per qualche ora, l'apprendimento è diventato un'avventura condivisa. 🚀🚀

Our PYP Student Council had the opportunity to have an online exchange with other IB PYP international schools here in Italy, International School of Siena and H-Farm International. 🌎

The students shared with one another the initiatives and projects they have created for their school throughout the school year so far. 💪 Also, they shared how they presented opportunities for student agency in student community and ideas of new projects.

This was a fulfilling experience for our student council which left them excited to ask to complete more tasks for their school by proposing new projects this term to our School Director, Ms Giulia Mazzocchi. 🏆

Kate presented the work of our WINS PYP Team on their successful strategies of showcasing Student Agency during the assessment process. 🏆
