Funeral or the other thing…
In Italy, more or less, only 2 types of businesses seem to advertise themselves on buses:
Funeral services (like in this picture) 🚍
…and hotels charging by the hour with big mirrors above the bed (you get the picture 😉).
Now imagine you have long commuting hours and spend half your life stuck in traffic.
At some point during your trip from A to B, you will think about one of two things: death... or the other one 😅
Now, combine this with sales tactics.
Because the question becomes: are they really selling funeral services and hotel rooms? Or are they attaching themselves to things that already live permanently in people's minds?
Fear. Desire. Human nature.
Interesting how marketing often doesn't create needs. It just keeps showing up exactly where your mind was already going.

When I say no, do they still feel safe with me?
Do you feel that your job and family often boils down to managing boundaries? More often having to say ‘no’ than ‘yes ‘ to a family member, team member, client, or leader.
But here’s my real challenge: When I say no, do they still feel safe with me?

It’s easy to be the 'nice' coach or the 'supportive' partner or parent when things are going great. The real test is whether people still trust me when the answer isn't what they wanted to hear.
For me, a great relationship (any relationship, whether it's work or family) looks like this:
- Setting firm boundaries without losing empathy.
- Having tough conversations that still leave people feeling valued.
- Building relationships where honesty doesn't break the connection.

Whether at home or in the office, the best relationships are the ones where a 'no' doesn't mean a 'goodbye.'

67 calls. 4 years. And it almost didn’t start.
I wanted to share a very special story with you.
More than 4 years ago, I was sent to work with a client. To be honest, we didn’t click at all in the beginning. The energy was off. We were both ready to walk away.
Then a person I highly respected said, “Just give each other a chance.”
I would normally brush off the advice like this, but something inside of me was not ready to give up.
I showed up to the next call holding a ‘reset’ button—literally, a red button in my hands. I also showed him an empty bag—the bag that represented ‘no expectations.' And on the piece of paper, I wrote ‘POINT 0’.
Red reset button, empty bag and 0 on the sheet of paper was our new contract.
So we started again—with no expectations.
That day turned into 67 coaching calls over 4 years.
I still can’t believe how far we went from there. It wasn’t just about business, startup issues, or team-building hurdles. We also went through personal ups and downs, breakups, and family issues. A lot of life happened during those 4 years!

Coaching can change a lot. Or nothing at all.
It depends on one simple (not easy) thing:
Are we both willing to start from zero......and stay?
